Mission to Mars: How NASA Changed the Game with Supplier Innovation

No enterprise has cornered the market on innovation. Company and product lifecycles are shrinking dramatically. It would be naive to think that the same is not happening to some degree in most other supply markets. The supply base of the average enterprise five years ago will look very different from that same enterprise’s supply base five years from today – at least it should, if the sourcing team is doing its work. As such, if enterprises believe that innovation can occur beyond their four walls, suppliers should be viewed as a source of knowledge and expertise that can be leveraged to competitive advantage and mutual gain.

Join Bill McNally, Dept. Chief Acquisition Officer at NASA, and several key NASA suppliers for an interactive and highly informative panel discussion focused on the supplier innovation programs that NASA has used to drive private sector advances and innovation in space exploration.

Moderator: Andrew Bartolini, Chief Research Officer & Managing Partner, Ardent Partners

Panelists: Bill McNally, Dept. Chief Acquisition Officer, NASA

Rita Tozzie, Director of Contracts, SNC Space Systems

Harold Hamilton, Senior Contracts Manager, Network and Space Systems, Space Exploration Division, The Boeing Company
